Do you hear the Jingle Bells yet??

Christmas is coming! Are you ready?
I'm not!
It's snuck up on me again this year...LOL

But luckily my friend, Cassandra (who I've known since middle school - that's a LONG time) sent me an email about this company this morning. I'm VERY skeptical of these things, so I checked it out pretty thoroughly, and found nothing negative (except for the usual haters who's life mission is to bash others - they are easy to spot when you've researched as much online as I have in my life!)

I wanted to tell you about this, since I know we are all wanting to earn extra $ these days. I won't pester you to join - I hate when people do that myself. Just check it out and let me know if you have any questions...

Before anything else though, I want to tell you the upfront cost - because frankly that was my biggest concern: $25.00 investment and you can cancel at anytime!

David & I spend that every weekend going to a movie. LOL After that, it's $25 a month, but for each person that registers through your site, you get $25 - every month - so you break even with your FIRST person. The compensation plan is here - just look in the top toolbar. Residual income is how all the internet gurus are getting rich - and now you can too - or at least make some extra spending money! It just depends on how much time you want to invest in promoting your site - through your own blog, email, Facebook, Twitter, word-of-mouth, however you want. Personally, I'm praying for a blessing!!

Basically, you just promote your website (which the company provides, you don't even have to tweak anything!) Membership includes free access to e-business building tools. You don't sell anything at all - just direct people to your site and let them make up their minds if they want to participate - just like I'm doing now.

The company makes their money by selling cds/dvds/ebooks - which are completely and totally optional - you never have to buy any of them at all.

Now, I'll warn you - this site looks REALLY cheesy, in my opinion. LOL But it must be working! My friend, Cassandra S. (you can find her in my FB friends list) has already made $$ and she just started on SUNDAY of this week (11/1/09). Her "upline" - a personal friend of hers - made $600 in 3 days. Even if you don't make that much - you will get your $25 back with your first enrollment. Again, it's only a $25.00 investment and you can cancel at anytime.

Plus, you will have access to tons of videos/ebooks/etc to teach you how to grow ANY business - which can help in other areas of your business career, too. Anyway, just thought I'd pass it on in case you're interested!

Just click here to check it out by clicking HERE.

Remember to check out the Comp Plan in the top toolbar to see the potential earnings!

Feel free to forward this to anyone who might be interested - they can also contact me with questions directly at mpayne1224@gmail.com

God bless!
Melinda

Food Lion Couponing 101

Get the newest Food Lion deals here each week
(just click the Subscribe/POSTS button on the right side of the screen):

http://frugalgrace.blogspot.com/search/label/foodlion

Several of you wanted to know how to do Food Lion couponing after seeing my yesterday's trip in which I got:
2 rolls Home360 paper towels
2 packs Healthy Accents cotton rounds
1.63 lb fresh cherries
1 Kiwi
2 lbs bananas
4 Starbucks fraps
2 4-packs FL Clearly Sparkling white grape water (clearance for $1.29)
2 small bags of salad
4 LARGE Ragu pasta sauce
4 Easy Mac (B1G1F coupons I had)
1 Hi-C

Total before Qs & MVP: $71.03
Total OOP: $18.04

So here you go!

NOTE: You can only use one of *each*
FLIP (Food Lion Internet Printable)
for the same product per transaction.

For instance - in one transaction:
1 FLIP for coffee
1 FLIP for Home360 item
1 FLIP for Health Accents product
This is fine!

However,
2 FLIPs for coffee = Not allowed!
1 FLIP for Home360 item
1 FLIP for Health Accents product

Some stores will allow you to do multiple transactions at one visit, some won't. Try doing two transactions your first trip, then you'll know which stores are FLIP-Friendly. ;)

FLIPs can be printed here - http://www.weusecoupons.com/upload/food-lion/19496-current-flips.html --- many in first few posts, then you can scroll through the other posts to get different ones as other's post their finds.

More recent ones are here: http://www.weusecoupons.com/upload/food-lion/19496-current-flips-27.html#post223648

****These change weekly (some monthly)
so keep checking back for the newest coupons!****

Changes are usually on Wednesday mornings, since that's when the new sales start.

You can find *my* finds/deals here every week: http://frugalgrace.blogspot.com/search/label/foodlion

They are PDF files - so you will need Adobe Reader to view/print them. (most people already have this software installed)

Let's go shopping!

What I do is paperclip my coupons together so I can stay organized in the store.
For instance yesterday I had these together for each trip:

  • 1 Guiding Stars (produce, meats, dairy, canned/frozen veggies, can use this on just about anything that's semi-healthy)
  • 1 Hi-C
  • 1 Starbucks (use on individual cold one and get them for CHEAP!)
  • 1 Home 360 (paper products, storage/trash bags, wipes, cleaning products, school/office supplies. etc are Home360)
  • 1 Healthy Accents (look on health/beauty aisle for these products)

Take one or two stacks of your paper clipped coupons in, and there ya have it!
  • Look for items that will be free or the cheapest with your coupons - for instance, cherries are $1.49/lb this week so I got a little over a pound yesterday. Bananas are 39¢/lb, so I got 2 lbs plus 1 Kiwi for 59¢ (since the Guiding Stars coupon states "purchase must exceed $1.00).
  • For Home360 and Healthy Accents - get the smallest/cheapest of whatever you need/want - emery boards are 99¢, for instance (Healthy Accents) and 13 gallon trash bags are $1.49 (Home360).

Any questions - feel free to ask! :)

Happy Shopping!

I've got a secret...

Wanna know how I get such great deals at Food Lion?? First sign up here for the Shopper's Companion.

Then check out the FLIPs (Food Lion Internet Printables) at WeUseCoupons.com! (If you join the site, which is completely FREE, of course - please feel free to tell them that mpayne referred you. I get nothing for that, but would just love to know how many folks join because I sent them. I'm weird that way. LOL)

There are just a few rules to abide by when you use FLIPs -

* These coupons can only be printed *once* per computer, but the print limit can be increased in the “print” box BEFORE you print. Remember to print as many as you think you will need, as you cannot come back to print again!

* Each FLIP can only be used once per transaction, but you may use multiple FLIPs (for different products) in the same transaction. Most Food Lions allow customers to do multiple transactions. (YMMV: Your mileage may vary)

* Sometimes there are different versions of similar coupons. WeUseCoupons tries to keep the first post of the FLIPs thread updated with all of the current versions of these coupons for everyone to print.

* Most Food Lions allow customers to combine a FLIP with a manufacturer’s coupon to maximize the savings, just ask a manager

Have fun saving with Food Lion -
and keep checking back here for more great deals & steals EVERY WEEK!

Stockpile!

Couponing is one of my favorite hobbies. Lately, I haven't been doing a lot (well, not as much as I did at first, anyway) since we have plenty of stock built up now. A few items are getting "low" (my family laughs when I go into panic mode and say "We only have 12 rolls of toilet paper left!" LOL) so I'll have to restock a few things in the coming weeks.

Anyway, I finally found time to take some pics of my small stockpile. I'm not nearly as good as some of my couponing friends, but we have enough for our family and to donate to others when needed.

Hover your mouse over the images for description or click on "View all" to see my commentary on each pic, if you'd like...
