Caffeinated Randomness: Can you guess my middle name?

I find this amusing since I can't remember anything these days.  Ok, so the "it's hard for people to get your attention when you're immersed in an activity." is true, I suppose.  I can't type and talk at the same time, and since I spend approximately 12 hours a day on the computer (it certainly feels that way)...  This will explain to my real life friends why I babble so much in person!  I'm just catching up.  ; )

By the way, anyone wanna try and guess my middle name?

You Are Hardworking and Disciplined

You are the type of person who is very courageous and brave. You go after what you want in life, even if it's a little scary to do so.

You are fearless and determined. You never give up, even when you probably should.

You find it easy to focus and concentrate. In fact, it's hard for people to get your attention when you're immersed in an activity.

You are honest even when you shouldn't be. People count on you to be a straight shooter.

I don't care much for "regular" honey, but I could eat this stuff with a spoon right outta the jar!)

Signs & screaming don't work

I want to take a moment to thank Brooke, of A Life in Need of Change
for hosting Sanctity of Human Life Week. Please take a few moments to stop by her blog, read the stories, and find a way that you can help the millions of women - and men - who suffer with post-abortion issues.

Do we really know our friends?

· 61 percent experience flashbacks

· 54 percent have anniversary reactions

· 33 percent feel suicidal

· 78 percent have feelings of diminished control of their lives

· 52 percent experience difficulty developing and maintaining relationships

· 49 percent begin or increase drug use

These statistics, by David Reardon of the Elliott Institute, show the effects of abortion on women - regardless of age, family size, race, marital status, or number of abortions.

Think this doesn't affect you or anyone you know?

At least half of American women will experience an unintended pregnancy by age 45, and, at current rates, about one-third will have had an abortion. So, chances are that about have been through this traumatizing experience.

Chances are that someone you know, someone you love, someone you think you know everything about - is suffering. Put aside the pro-life propaganda and look at the person

Join my friend, Brooke, during Sanctity of Life Week - and read the touching stories from those who wonder if you'll still love them when you know The Whole Truth

Great new-to-me Christan online vendor - organic products!

I like finding a good deal.  I LOVE finding a good deal on organic products!  As we all know, going green can be expensive.  I was so happy to find Tropical Traditions online.  They have the most fabulous organic products, and the best sales EVER!!  Right now, you can enter a giveaway for a FREE quart of organic coconut oil.  And today only (1/16/10) you can get a FREE 16oz bottle of Organic Maple Syrup!  The last time I bought real maple syrup at my local healthy chain-grocer,  it was VERY expensive - and not even organic!

Another thing I love is supporting fellow Christians in their lives - and Tropical Traditions is a Christian owned & operated organization.  You can read the owner's story here: Peace with God.

If you happen to place an order, please consider putting me as your sponsor so I can get coupons toward my own future orders. If you don't, no problem either - just wanting to share where my income is now going...ummm...I mean how I found healthier alternatives in the kitchen! ;)  I'd really, really appreciate it!!  Here's the 411:

WeBlog! Conference - My shameless self-promotion!

WHOA!! I just found out about this awesome opportunity from We Blog! Conference! They are holding a mini-conference focus group to help determine the direction of the BIG WeBlog! conference in May 2011.

I am *drooling* at the possibility of attending this mini-conference, hosted by at the beautiful Glenstone Lodge in Gatlinburg this May!

The Co-Founders of We Blog!, 3 boys & a Dog and The Post-It Place have worked with their sponsors (above) to provide this virtually FREE experience for 8 lucky bloggers!  I want to be one of them!!

We Blog! wants bloggers to tell them what WE want in the WeBlog! Conference in 2011 (also being held at the Glenstone Lodge), as well as touring the location and getting to know other bloggers to trade tips, tricks, and fellowship.  They're offering Round Table Discussions, a Live Twitter Party (how fun!), a Southern Style Tea, a chance for others to "Critique My Blog" and find out "What Works", and much more.  Oh, please please please let me goooooo!  As they say "I ain't too proud to beg!"  ;)

I SO wish I could have attended a conference like this before I started blogging!  I just kinda stumbled into the Blogosphere with no experience whatsoever, and boy would Blogging 101 have come in handy!  As it was, I just winged it - eternally thankful to the other, more experienced bloggers, who gave me tips along the way.  It's been quite a whirlwind experience!  I've had the opportunity to begin writing for several online sites - including ExemplifyOnline, Skirt Magazine, and Divine Caroline - and a few print projects as a direct result of my blogging!  I would never have imagined the possibilities when I started Frugal Grace as a little hobby!

I am SO anxious to learn more and grow in this world of blogging!  I hope I am chosen as one of the special 8 people to attend the mini-conference and I look forward to the 2011 WeBlog! Conference!!
